Where Do I Start?

Ok, I've given in to the blog temptation. I think that it will actually be good for me...sort of therapeutic and stress relieving. I absolutely love to write and I definitely adore my family, so what better past time than writing about my family?! I'll begin by giving you some insight into this fabulous family of mine.

I'm married to Chad Hill. He is a CTE Teacher at Union Pines High School as well as the head Varsity baseball coach. He is not one to ever shy away from hard work and puts his all into everything that he does. Chad loves all sports and played professional baseball for a few years when we first met. An elbow injury ended his career and now coaching is his passion. He is also a GREAT father to our son, Collin. Collin just lights up when Chad walks in the door. Chad has a way with all children, but Collin has the most wonderful time when his "dada" is playing with him.

Speaking of our son, I'll tell you about Collin. Not to sound cliche, but he is the best thing that ever happened to us! We can't imagine what we ever did before Collin got here. His smile and laugh warm your heart like nothing you ever thought possible. I have said on so many occasions that I wish I could bottle up the sound of his giggles to keep with me always. It is truly music to my ears. Collin will be 2 years old on May 22nd! I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is so funny and full of life. We can't go anywhere without a ball. Ball, ball, ball! That's all he thinks about. Chad and I both are very intent on not pushing him into sports at all unless he chooses to play, but I have a huge hunch that he already loves them. He watches ESPN for pete's sake! He is also very loving. I just can't get enough kisses from him and he is just so adorable with his curls bouncing as he runs and jumps. I really think we have the world's cutest kid!

Now about me. I like to think that I'm fun and outgoing. I love to read and miss going to school. I have been a speech-language pathologist for 3 years now and really love my job. I work with both adults and kids, so I have the best of both worlds. My favorite job is being a mommy. I'm blessed to have such wonderful parents and grandparents that help me out tremendously. Growing up is hard work!

I could go on and on. I dream of writing a book or a series of books one day, but I don't think I would know how to cut them off. I tend to ramble. Realizing that, I'm going to end my post for now.

Goodnight and God Bless!
